Q. What is the difference between skintoskin® clothing and normal clothing? A. Skintoskin ® products are made of cotton, seaweed extracts with silver salts. Cotton is extremely well tolerated by the skin; Silver gives a strong antibacterial and anti-fungal effect. Seaweed extracts (algae) have a calming, irritation relieving effect on the skin.
Q. How long will the effects of Skintoskin® products last? A. The effect lasts for the life of garments regardless of how often it is washed.
Q. Is there any risk of allergies? A. The risk of allergies is virtually zero, Silver, when used in appropriate amounts has a low toxicity to human cells with strong beneficial antimicrobial effects. The composition and processes applied during manufacture conform to strict standards. Skintoskin® meets all applicable standards, including those advised by law.
Q. Does Skintoskin® work in all cases of atopic dermatitis? A. Skintoskin® if used consistently and according to medical indications is highly effective. However, like any therapy, we can not guarantee 100% positive results in all situations.
Q. Apart from dermatitis or atopic eczema are there other skin problems Skintoskin ® can help solve? A. Problems caused by fungi such as thrush or athlete's foot, bad odours, wrinkles and inter sub-mammary, diabetic foot. In addition, Skintoskin ® can be used by all people who want superior comfort or to prevent problems occurring in the first instance, for example, irritation caused by external factors.
Q. Why is skintoskin® sold in packs of two or three units? A. Because for best results it is essential to maintain continued use, the same as if it were a course of drugs but with benefit of applying totally natural products.
Q. Why is Skintoskin® only available as underwear? A. Because the principle action of Skintoskin ® is in direct contact with skin.
Q. How should I wash and treat skintoskin® garments? A. You should treat the garments with care, never apply bleach, iron with moderate temperatures (up to 150), do not dry clean or use stain remover and do not tumble dry. Liquid detergents are preferable. You can use your washing machine, provided with temperatures up to 30 and with reduced spin. Do not use fabric softeners, potential allergens can remain in the fabric. On hot summer days, avoid direct sun drying.
Q. Where isSkintoskin® produced? A. Skintoskin ® products are produced in Portugal.

Q. Can I register on the skintoskin® website?
A. Yes. You can use the skintoskin® website as a guest or as a registered user. In both cases purchases are made in the same way. As a registered user you will be able to use promotional coupons when available.
Q. What are the delivery costs?
A. Postage and packaging is charged at £3.75+VAT on all orders. Orders of £100 and over are delivered free of charge. Delivery charges are added at the checkout.
Q. Do I have to pay VAT on skintoskin®?
A. skintoskin® does attract VAT and it is included in the price. Children's skintoskin® is VAT free up to the age of 14 years.
Q. I have bought skintoskin® but chosen the wrong size, how do I exchange for a different size?
A. Request for exchange must be made within 14 days of initial purchase.
Email us at skintoskin@effjey.co.uk with your details, name and address, customer number or invoice number and a day time telephone number. We will contact you to ensure we solve your problem.
Return Postage is the customers responsibility.
Because of the nature of the skintoskin® product we do not exchange briefs, boxers or bras.
Q. I have received a faulty skintoskin item how do I exchange the faulty item?
A. We take every measure to ensure skintoskin® is manufactured to the highest standards.
skintoskin® is a class 1 medical device, its manufacture reflects this. It is highly unlikely your item will be faulty.
If you do receive a faulty item contact our team within 14 days of initial purchase by email at skintoskin@effjey.co.uk or by telephone on 0800 1700123.
We will request you send the faulty item back for our inspection. If it is deemed the item is at fault and no miss use on behalf of the customer has led to failure of the product we will replace the item and reimburse the customer for the return postage and packaging cost.
